The organization

UdoNaturally the entire team at Dolphin Base will endeavor to make your (dive-)stay at Ayada Maldives as comfortable und uncomplicated as possible.

Before you go out in a boat for the first time, the obligatory “paperwork” for every dive center on earth must be taken care of. It goes without saying that we will support you in both help and advice on this.

Our multifaceted offer

There are two regularly scheduled daily dive trips to the individual dive site in the South Male Atoll: the morning dive at 9:00 and the afternoon dive at 3:00. As a rule, divers are asked to be at the dive center 15 to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure in order to ensure the timely start of the excursion.

Furthermore we offer the following additional activities:

Night dives:
A night dive on the Maldives is among the most impressive experiences under water. Not only does the darkness lend a mystical quality, life on the reef at night cannot be compared to that during the day. Night hunters, those that can only be seen during the day between the columns of rocks with luck, are on the move and the intensity of the colors under the light of the lamps is even more powerful and impressive.

The Divemaster course is the first step in becoming a dive professional. At the end of this training step you will be an official member of PADI and will be in the position to assist a scuba instructor or be able to lead independent dives. The emphasis for this course therefore is also in conveying intensive theory, as well as in the demonstration of the mastery of the lessons learned during the OWD course.

After the successful conclusion of the Advanced Open Water course, the doors are open for numerous PADI specialties. If you are specifically interested in scuba diving and want to achieve the maximum theoretical and practical knowledge possible, you have the additional possibility of taking a specialty course. The areas are numerous and include everything from Underwater Navigator to Night Diver, Deep Diver, Drift Diver and Underwater Naturalist.

Rescue Diver

Based on the previously acquired skills, the point is now to be able to get a grip on possible problem situations that you encounter. Correct reactions in the underwater world are critical. This course is given the highest priority exactly for this reason. You will learn to recognize problems right away on the shore or in the water and learn how you should respond should a true emergency situation arise.

Emergency First Response

Emergency First Response is an innovative first aid program with comprehensive training in Primary Care (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Secondary Care (First Aid). In the Primary Care program (CPR) you will learn how you can help in life-threatening emergencies.

Reef cleanup

In order to actively bring the environmental concepts here on the Maldives into the foreground, and as a sign of the environmental awareness of the sport of diving and its participants, we organize reef cleanups on a regular basis.

Scuba Review

PADI's Scuba Review program brings you back "under water" easily and quickly. You will benefit from participating in it if you:

• are a certified diver but haven't been on any dives in a long time

• would like to refresh your dive skills and knowledge

• are a PADI Scuba Diver or a transfer student and are trying for your Open Water certification card

• want certification as an experienced diver
